Here its me, warming up for a busy afternoon teaching in this beautiful studio in Wan Chai, in the heart of Hong Kong, our home for so many years.
We’ve now moved to Zurich, and I’m working on my project, “Making Up Stories,” a participatory performance for all ages, kicking off a Swiss-Brazilian collaboration.
I continue teaching dance classes to children, teens, and adults here in Adliswil, where we live, and I also hold regular workshops in Salvador as part of the “Criaçāo Criança” Project.

DANCE EDUCATION
I like to think that my approach to teaching dance nurtures both wings and roots. Beyond discipline and technique, my focus is on awakening a child’s presence, expression, joy, and spontaneity during the learning experience. My methodology is artistic, performative, exploratory, and inclusive, always striving to nurture each child’s individual potential while also promoting the social integration that group dance provides.
Teaching Children
My teaching methodology include dance techniques such as classical ballet (RAD and the Cuban method), contemporary dance, improvisation and composition exercises. The activities are designed to improve posture, body and movement awareness, coordination, concentration, and interaction.
The classes are playful and fun, stimulate children's creativity, self-confidence, and expression, suitable for boys and girls.
